This program offers a unique opportunity for scene study students or parents to work in different positions within the Studio in return for credit towards monthly scene study tuition. Credits range from $50 per month up to full scholarships. Most positions can be done from your home and will require anywhere from 1 - 2 hours per week. Join the ARS Work Study Program and keep your tuition amount (or your child’s) at no more than $100 per month! The list below gives a general overview of each of our departments. A short questionnaire follows; please respond and return at your earliest convenience so that we may begin placing you in a position as soon as possible! ADMISSIONS DEPT – Contacts prospective members (phone allowance will be included in work study credit), follow-up calls, reminders, member sign-up, etc.
ADVERTISING DEPT – Develops both print and internet promotional pieces that advertise Studio programs and events as well as support and build the Alexia Robinson Studio brand. Often collaborates with Marketing and other departments. HUMAN RESOURCES DEPT - Human resource staff members are advocates for both the company and the people in the company. Consequently, a good HR professional performs a constant balancing act to meet both needs successfully. MARKETING DEPT – Marketing to the industry (dealing with agents and managers) or to actors, research and online marketing, etc. SCENE DEPT – Scene research and assignments for adults, kids, or teens. SPECIAL EVENTS DEPT - Contacts interested callers to sign them up for the special event. Examples: Showcases, ARS Summer Camp for Teens and Kids, An Empowered Actor events.
